The Archius Process
A phased approach protects your budget, your timeline, and your peace of mind. Here's how a typical Archius project moves — from first conversation to the day construction begins.

We start by understanding your property and goals — setbacks, local codes, structural realities, geotech, and site opportunities. You leave this phase knowing exactly what your project can become.

Concept, plans, elevations, materials, and interiors are shaped through iterative conversations. This is the collaborative heart of the process — where your dream home takes clear form.

We prepare the full construction document set and navigate jurisdictions on your behalf. Our long relationships with local permit offices keep projects moving with fewer surprises.

We coordinate with your contractor, engineers, and specialty consultants so the build begins with clarity. Every detail is resolved on paper before ground is broken.
Meet the Studio
Founded in 2017 by architects Swati Hasbe and Uttara Shrinivas, Archius has grown into a close-knit team of architects and interior designers based in Bellevue.

Swati co-founded Archius in 2017 and is a registered architect in the state of Washington and North Carolina. She has over 14 years of experience in hospitality, mixed-use, residential, multi-family and commercial projects. A firm believer in sustainable design principles, she aims to achieve simplicity in form while doing justice to the purpose and function of a space.

Uttara co-founded Archius in 2017 and is a registered architect in the state of Washington. She believes in taking a holistic and symbiotic approach to design. Every client has unique requirements from the spaces they live in — obsessing over getting that right is what excites her. She received her Master of Architecture from University of Washington.

Ela has over 12 years of design and construction experience spanning residential villas, apartment complexes, schools, medical offices and laboratories. She strongly believes in ethical transparency and empathic design practice, using architecture to make a positive difference in her clients' lives.

Melissa has over 7 years of experience in interior design. She believes everyone deserves to live in a home they love — connecting with clients, understanding their goals, and partnering with them to conceptualize the design aesthetic, source finishes, and make confident decisions.
